The Home Care & Institutional Cleaning unit supplies biodegradable surfactants, bio‑based solvents, odour‑neutralising fragrances, preservatives and performance additives sourced from partners such as Nouryon, Jungbunzlauer, Alteqo, EOC Surfactants, Vink Chemicals, Dow, BYK, Synthomer, DSM‑Firmenich and Fragrance Oils.

Fragrance & Odor Control for Home Care

Fragrances & odour control – Signature accords including Spring Petals 920246, Wild Meadow 930248, Crisp Cotton 930234 and Vintage Spice impart freshness. Fragrance ingredients like Beyond Hivernal, Carbinol Muguet and Firlial® add complexity, while odour‑neutralising molecules from DSM‑Firmenich tackle malodours.

Performance & Functional Additives

Preservatives & biocides – Broad‑spectrum preservatives such as Vinkocide 824, Vinkocide BIT PT, Parmetol A26/A28 and Parmetol PL maintain product integrity. XIAMETER AFE‑1410 silicone antifoam emulsions control foam in processing. Performance & functional additives – Foam boosters and degreasers (Berol DGR‑81, Berol ENV226), thickeners and rheology modifiers (Aculyn 28, Acusol 830, Aculyn SilTouch), dispersants (Ecosurf Bright), flow and slip modifiers (BYK‑347, BYK‑320), and silicone antifoams (DOWSIL GP‑931) optimise viscosity, cleaning efficacy and processing.

Sustainable & Bio-based Cleaning Formulations

Sustainable surfactants & chelants – Readily biodegradable surfactants such as EcoSense® 919, EcoSense® 3000 and EcoSense® 1200, plant‑based hydrotropes Berol 336 and Berol 360, amphoteric and non‑ionic surfactants (Berol 226, Ampholaks®), and chelating agents like Dissolvine® GL‑47‑S (glutamic acid based) and Dissolvine® M‑X. AlcoGuard 5800 and Alcosperse polymers provide anti‑redeposition and scale control. Solvents & hydrotropes – Bio‑based solvents Glycasol® and Glycamal® (based on glycerol) offer low volatility and excellent grease cutting. Non‑glycol hydrotropes from Dow and Nouryon aid cleaning efficiency without hazardous solvents.
