Target Chemicals is a specialty chemical distribution company headquartered in Amman, Jordan. Since 1990, we have served manufacturers across the food, pharmaceutical, adhesive, coating, personal care, and agricultural industries with high-quality raw materials, technical expertise, and reliable supply chains. Our team of pharmacists, chemical engineers, food scientists, and application specialists works directly with production teams to solve formulation challenges — not just deliver drums.
We are the authorized regional distributor for 33 world-class chemical producers, including Novonesis (formerly Novozymes), Henkel Adhesive Technologies, DSM-Firmenich, BYK / ALTANA, Tate & Lyle, Nouryon, MEGGLE, Emsland Group, AROMSA, Dr. Suwelack, Darling Ingredients / Rousselot, Dow, FOI, Jungbunzlauer, EOC Surfactants, Gelymar, Kalsec, Vink Chemicals, Rikevita, Interfiber, J&K Ingredients, Eckart, Industrial Physics, Sudarshan, Synthomer, Sasol, Fiber Star, Solar Comercio, Inter-Harz, Alteqo, DIC, Hexion, and Kimix. Every product we supply comes through a verified chain of custody, backed by Certificates of Analysis and stored in GDP-aligned, temperature-controlled warehousing.
Target Chemicals was established in 1990 in Amman, Jordan, at a time when most chemical supply in the region was handled by general trading companies with no technical depth. Our founder saw a gap: manufacturers in Jordan and the broader Levant needed more than a source of raw materials. They needed a partner who understood their formulations, their production constraints, and the regulatory requirements of their end markets.
From the beginning, Target Chemicals focused exclusively on specialty chemicals — not commodity bulk trading. That decision shaped everything that followed. We built a team of technically trained professionals, established direct partnerships with global chemical producers, and invested in laboratory and warehousing infrastructure that could support the quality standards our customers required.
Over three decades, we have expanded from a single-principal relationship to a portfolio of 33 global suppliers. We have grown from serving food manufacturers in Amman to supporting production facilities across Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, the West Bank, and Saudi Arabia. Our sourcing office in China allows us to manage supply chain complexity for customers who need materials from both Western and Asian origins.
Today, Target Chemicals employs approximately 24 people, operates from our offices at Masannat Plaza on King Abdullah II Street, and manages temperature-controlled warehouse facilities across the region. We have shipped to every major industrial zone in Jordan and maintain active supply relationships in five countries.
We organize our business around three commercial clusters, each led by dedicated specialists with deep domain expertise:

Competitive Advantages and Strategic Positioning
In an increasingly competitive landscape featuring global players like IMCD, Univar, Brenntag, and Azelis, Target Chemicals leverages several key advantages:
Their small, technical team enables faster cross-collaboration, trend identification, and rapid market response compared to larger, more bureaucratic competitors.
Superior service model that larger multinational distributors often struggle to match due to their scale and complexity.
Evolving laboratory capabilities that provide real value-added services for customers through custom formulation and technical support.
As a family-run business, Target Chemicals can “easily invest and sacrifice short term profit for long term gain,” providing strategic flexibility that public companies constrained by quarterly earnings pressure cannot match.
Target Chemicals maintains exclusive partnerships with leading global chemical companies, including:
FiberStar, Alteq, Synthomer, Emsland Group, BYK, Novonesis, Fragrance Oils, Jungbunzlauer, MEGGLE, Tate & Lyle, Nouryon, Aromsa, Dr. Suwelack Coffee, Henkel, InterFiber, Gelnex, Gelymar, Kalsec, and Dow

These partnerships span both regional Levant-wide arrangements and country-specific agreements, providing the company with a diverse and robust supplier portfolio.
