Pigments & Functional Materials for Non-Coating Applications

Expancel® microspheres: Expandable thermoplastic microspheres used as ultra-lightweight fillers/blowing agents. Reduce weight and enhance surface finish in plastics, coatings, composites. Armostat® antistatic additives: Internal/external antistatic agents improving thermoplastics processability and reducing static buildup. Cellulose fibers (Bestocell®, Unicell®, Pre-co-Floc®): Natural fibers acting as reinforcing agents in bioplastics and composites. Boost strength, reduce weight, improve processing. PET Modifiers A-51 / A-55: Solid ester oligomers for improving PET melt flow and filler compatibility in engineered thermoplastics.

Renewable & Green Solvents/Chemicals

CITROFOL® AI (triethyl citrate): Biodegradable plasticizer and solvent from natural sources. Used in polymers, personal care, food. Glycasol® (ALTEQO): Bio-based solvent/hydrotrope (glycerol origin), ultra-low vapor pressure, safe handling and miscibility. Emset® (Emsland Group): Starch-based green additive improving rheology, water retention, and adhesion in eco-friendly formulations. Berol® SurfBoost AD15 Max: Amide ethoxylate (≥95% renewable carbon) surfactant for sustainable cleaning formulations. Armeen® fatty amines (OD, CD): Derived from natural fats, used as surfactant intermediates, emulsifiers, or processing aids. DOWANOL™ Glycol Ethers Series: Oxygenated solvents with lower toxicity and high solvency, tailored for reduced VOC applications

Industrial Additives & Process Aids

Wetting & dispersing agents – DISPERBYK®‑2000, BYK‑153 for improved pigment stabilization, flow, and gloss in solventborne and waterborne systems. • Rheology modifiers – RHEOBYK®‑7590, RHEOBYK®‑410, RHEOBYK®‑411 to build thixotropy, prevent sagging, and improve application control across coating systems. • Surface additives – BYK‑333 silicone additive for surface tension reduction, slip, and defect-free finishes. • Defoamers – BYK‑093, BYK‑019 for efficient foam control in aqueous coatings and pigment concentrates. • Crosslinkers & adhesion promoters – Trigonox® organic peroxides for polymer crosslinking; Silquest® A‑187 for enhanced adhesion to inorganic substrates. • Processing aids – BYK‑MAX P 4109, BYK‑P 4100 for melt stability and surface quality in thermoplastics; AQUACER® 531 wax emulsion to enhance abrasion and slip resistance.

Specialty Polymers & Performance Plastics

REVACRYL™ R 387: APEO-free styrene-acrylic dispersion for cementitious and masonry coatings. Strong adhesion and flexibility. AXILAT™ HP 8510: Redispersible VAE copolymer for dry mortars and tile adhesives; improves adhesion and abrasion resistance. ACRYDIC® AC-3646: Solventborne OH-functional acrylic resin for high gloss 2K PU clearcoats with excellent chemical resistance.
