The Paints, Coatings & Construction Materials unit provides pigments, resins, additives and coatings solutions for architecture, industry and infrastructure. Collaborating with Heubach, DIC, Synthomer, Dow, BYK, Nouryon, Vink Chemicals and TQC Sheen, we supply low‑VOC, durable and sustainable materials.

Testing & Quality Control Equipment

Multi Spindle Viscometer – Measures viscosity from 100 to 13M cP; ideal for coatings, inks, adhesives, food. Automatic Film Applicator – Ensures uniform film drawdowns for accurate testing of gloss, abrasion, and rheology. Glossmeters (SoloGloss / PolyGloss) – Handheld gloss testers for production and lab QC. Scrub Abrasion & Washability Testers (AB6000/AB6010) – Simulate wet/dry surface wear and cleanability. CurveX 4 Oven Logger – Monitors curing oven profiles to optimize coating performance. Concrete Moisture Meter – Non-destructive moisture testing for substrates like floors and walls. Grindometers – Measures pigment dispersion and fineness for coatings, inks, food. Coating Thickness Gauge (Fe/NFe) – Measures dry film thickness on ferrous/non-ferrous metals. Eco-Friendly Additives & Solvents: BYK-1615 / 037 / 024 – VOC-free defoamers for paints, adhesives, and inks. Glycasol® / Glycamal® – Bio-based, non-flammable solvents and plasticizers. Vinkocide® CMIF – Broad-spectrum in-can preservative for water-based systems. Sustainable Resins & Binders: PRIMAL™ (Dow) – Acrylic emulsion binders (some with bio-based content), engineered for waterproofing, tile adhesives, and cement coatings. Synthomer – Waterborne VAE and styrene-butadiene latexes for sustainable formulations. Rheology & Flow Control: Bermocoll® EHM 200 / EBS 481 FQ – Non-ionic cellulose thickeners improving flow, leveling, and resistance to enzymes.

Standard Pigments: Heubach Pigments – Organic (e.g. Hansa® Yellow) and inorganic pigments for vivid, lasting color. MONOLITE™ Blue 515303 / 3RX-H – High-performance blue pigments with exceptional gloss and lightfastness. HEUCO® Green 600734 – Weather- and heat-resistant green pigment with strong tinting power. Effect Pigments: Lumina® – High-def interference pigments (synthetic mica) for deep sparkle and color purity. STANDART® – Brilliant metallic pigments: aluminum, bronze, copper. SynCrystal® – Soft shimmer pearlescent pigments (e.g. Very Berry, Rose Opal, Platinum). Chione Electric Series – Bold, carmine-free metallic shades for cosmetics and coatings. High-Performance Resins: EPICLON® – Epoxy resin portfolio for protective and industrial coatings with high adhesion and chemical resistance. ACRYDIC® AC-3646 – OH-functional solventborne acrylic for 2K PU clear coats (automotive, plastics, wood). DOWSIL™ 2405 – Alkoxy-siloxane resin for heat and wear resistance. Effect Additives: CERAFAK 100 / CERATIX 8561 – EVA wax dispersions that enhance pigment orientation and brilliance in metallic coatings. Defoamers & Flow Modifiers: BYK-1615 / 037 / 024 – VOC-free defoamers suitable for high-PVC emulsions, gloss inks, and dispersion adhesives.
