Technomelt SUPRA Series

Technomelt SUPRA 100 — General-purpose EVA hot melt with excellent adhesion to corrugated board, folding cartons, and coated substrates. Freezer-grade performance ensures reliable bond integrity in cold-chain packaging down to -20°C. SUPRA 100 provides consistent bead application on high-speed case sealers and is the workhorse grade for most corrugated packaging operations in the region.

Technomelt SUPRA 106 — Low-temperature application grade that operates at approximately 140–150°C versus the 170°C+ required by conventional hot melts. Lower application temperature reduces energy consumption by up to 20%, minimizes charring and nozzle clogging, extends maintenance intervals, and reduces adhesive waste. Ideal for lines where reduced thermal stress on substrates improves pack quality.

Technomelt SUPRA 150 — Engineered for difficult-to-bond substrates including recycled board with high post-consumer content, heavily coated and UV-varnished surfaces, and wax-laminated cartons. SUPRA 150 provides extended open time, superior heat resistance, and strong fibre-tear bonds on challenging packaging substrates that standard hot melts cannot handle reliably.

Technomelt COOL

Technomelt COOL adhesives apply at significantly lower temperatures than conventional hot melts — typically below 130°C versus 170°C or more. This step change in application temperature delivers four core benefits: reduced burn risk for operators and improved workplace safety; lower energy consumption and smaller carbon footprint; decreased adhesive degradation, charring, and nozzle maintenance; and extended equipment life for tanks, hoses, and applicators. Technomelt COOL is specifically developed for food packaging, pharmaceutical cartons, personal care packaging, and any production line where operator safety, sustainability, and adhesive consistency are top priorities.

Technomelt PUR — Reactive Hot Melts

Technomelt PUR (polyurethane reactive) adhesives offer the rapid initial tack and processing speed of a hot melt combined with the long-term durability of a structural adhesive. Applied as a molten bead, PUR adhesives set quickly for immediate handling, then moisture-cure over 24–72 hours to form a cross-linked bond that is heat-resistant, chemical-resistant, and mechanically robust. Applications include woodworking edge banding and profile wrapping, textile and foam lamination, electronics assembly and potting, bookbinding, and multi-material structural bonding where conventional EVA hot melts lack the durability required for the end-use environment.

Loctite Engineering Adhesives

Loctite is the world’s most recognized brand in engineering adhesives — and Target Chemicals stocks the core Loctite portfolio for immediate availability in Jordan and across the Levant. Every Loctite product is backed by decades of proven performance in the most demanding industrial environments, from aerospace fastener assembly to heavy-equipment maintenance.

Anaerobic Threadlockers

Loctite threadlockers cure in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, permanently preventing loosening caused by vibration, shock, and thermal cycling. Available in low-strength (purple — easy disassembly for adjustment), medium-strength (blue — standard maintenance), and high-strength (red — permanent assembly) grades, threadlockers replace mechanical locking devices such as lock washers, nylon-insert nuts, and castellated nut/cotter-pin assemblies. They reduce fastener inventory, simplify torque specifications, and provide a reliable, repeatable locking solution. Applications span HVAC equipment, conveyor systems, and heavy machinery.

Cyanoacrylate Instant Adhesives

Loctite instant adhesives (cyanoacrylates) bond in seconds on plastics, rubber, metal, ceramics, and composites — making them essential for production-line assembly, electronics manufacturing, medical-device bonding, and maintenance repair operations. The Loctite cyanoacrylate range includes general-purpose liquid grades for close-fitting joints, rubber-toughened formulations for impact resistance, surface-insensitive grades that cure on acidic or inactive surfaces, low-bloom formulations for optical and electronic applications, and gel viscosities for vertical or porous substrates where run-off must be prevented.

Structural Adhesives

Loctite structural adhesives — including two-part epoxies, methacrylates, and hybrid formulations — deliver high-strength, load-bearing bonds that can replace or supplement welding, riveting, and mechanical fastening. They distribute stress evenly across the entire bond area, join dissimilar materials (metal-to-composite, metal-to-plastic), damp vibration, seal against fluid ingress, and improve fatigue life. Key applications include composite panel assembly, metal furniture fabrication, industrial equipment manufacturing, and repair of cast and machined components where welding is not practical.

Retaining Compounds

Loctite retaining compounds bond cylindrical assemblies — bearings into housings, shafts into gears, sleeves into bores, rotors onto shafts — compensating for worn or oversized mating surfaces without remachining. They fill the gap between mating surfaces, distribute loads uniformly around the full circumference, eliminate fretting corrosion, and restore tolerance stack-ups. Available in multiple strength grades to match disassembly requirements.

Gasketing & Thread Sealants

Loctite anaerobic gasket sealants form flexible, solvent-resistant seals that replace pre-cut gaskets — eliminating gasket inventory, reducing torque scatter from compressible gasket materials, and forming seals that never creep, shrink, or relax. Loctite thread sealants lock and seal pipe fittings in hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and water systems, preventing leakage more reliably and cleanly than PTFE tape. These products are widely used in HVAC, pneumatic, and general plumbing applications.

Bonderite Surface Treatment

Proper surface preparation is the foundation of every reliable bond, coating, and corrosion-protection system. Henkel’s Bonderite brand covers the full surface treatment workflow from raw-material cleaning through final corrosion protection:

Metal Pretreatment — Iron phosphate, zinc phosphate, and advanced nanoceramic conversion coatings that create a uniform, adherent conversion layer on steel, aluminum, and multi-metal substrates. Bonderite’s nanoceramic conversion coatings represent the next generation of surface preparation — replacing chromate chemistry with environmentally compliant nano-scale coatings that maximize subsequent paint adhesion and corrosion resistance, meet stringent environmental regulations with reduced sludge, lower water consumption, and chrome-free chemistry.

Industrial Cleaners — Alkaline, acidic, and solvent-based degreasing and descaling formulations for surface activation before bonding or coating. Available for spray, immersion, and ultrasonic cleaning processes.

Corrosion Protection — Water-based and solvent-based temporary corrosion inhibitors for in-process protection during manufacturing, inter-operational storage between production steps, and finished-part preservation during shipping and warehousing.

Forming Lubricants — Drawing, stamping, deep-drawing, and roll-forming compounds that extend die life, reduce scrap rates, and improve surface finish on cold-formed metal parts.

Machining Fluids — Cutting, grinding, drilling, and EDM fluids engineered for performance, sump life, operator safety, and environmental compliance.

Packaging Adhesives

We serve packaging converters and filling lines across Jordan with Henkel’s complete packaging adhesive platform. From case-and-carton sealing with Technomelt SUPRA on high-speed corrugators, to labeling adhesives for beverage and pharmaceutical containers, tray-forming adhesives for food service and retail-ready packaging, flexible lamination adhesives for pouches and wrappers, and end-of-line palletizing solutions — every adhesive is selected to match your substrate combination, line speed, open-time requirement, and end-use performance specification. Our packaging team audits your line, recommends the optimal adhesive grade and application parameters, and monitors performance to ensure consistent quality.
